Calvin Oldaker Obituary

Calvin Gary Oldaker of Peachbottom Calvin Gary Oldaker, 59, beloved husband of Mary Anne Oldaker, passed away December 3, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. He was born on March 21, 1952. Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Saphronia Oldaker; his sister, Linda married to David Sampson; four children, Deborah married to Tim Urbanski, James Oldaker and his wife Jennifer, Timothy Oldaker, and Heather, married to Michael Woodward; and his grandchildren, Kayla Krystal, Kevin, Kolton, Kimberly and Katherine. Calvin was preceded in death by his father Emil Oldaker and a son Dennis Oldaker. After graduating from Kennett High School, class of 1970, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He most recently worked as a security guard for Tyson Foods in New Holland. He enjoyed fishing, playing his music, watching NASCAR races and spending time with family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 9, from Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, with Pastor Ken Hall officiating. Interment will follow in New London United Methodist Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603 or to SPCA, 2195 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster, PA 17602.
