Florence Bare Obituary

Florence M. Bare of West Chester Florence M. Bare, 74, of West Chester, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, at Pocopson Home in West Chester. She was the wife of the late Gene J. Bare. Born in Malvern, she was the daughter of the late Ray Nelson and the late Helen Rodkey Lewis. She had lived in Chester County her entire life. Florence had worked as a security supervisor up until her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, reading books and writing letters. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Louise Bare; a brother, Ray Nelson of Morgantown; a sister-in-law, Betty Nelson of Morgantown; and her three nephews, Michael Nelson of Morgantown, Shaun Nelson of Ephrata and Richard Nelson of Quarryville. Services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Malvern United Methodist Church ,16 Monument Ave., Malvern, PA 19355.
