Ryan you were the best friend to Matthew, he considers you his brother and I in-turn consider you my second son, that is why I called you by Baby Ry Ry which you said was ok, just don't call you RyeBread. I remember us having that conversation when you were helping me carry groceries into the house one afternoon. I still hear your laugh, I still see you walking up the driveway to my house with that stocking cap on your head and a smile on your face, I still hear you and Matt practicing in my basement, I still see you standing in my kitchen, and I still see you sitting in my garage or slouched back in a chair on the patio or talking to me while sitting on the front porch. I remember our talks, I remember your smile (kind of half grin actually), I remember your voice, I remember your music, I remember your laugh and most of all I remember what a wonderful helpful, kind, intelligent caring human being you were. I miss you !

Rest in Peace Baby Ry Ry ...

Ryan,
It's hard to imagine a world without a creative person like you in it. We grew up together and although graduation has distanced us, you were always in my thoughts. I truly hope you are at peace.

Hey man, it's so quiet without you. Everytime I close my eyes I see you waiting for me with a smile. When I come home you're on my front porch waiting like you always were. Everytime I sing, I can hear your guitar. You are in everything I do, and in every part of me forever. I'll make you proud brother...I love you

Somehow among every trouble
in this world our worries seem
so small.

In the context of something greater that surrounds us, confounds us, and
consumes us all.

We fight hard for such small battles
though one strong wind will make
our tower fall.

Look how fragile we are,
how fragile we really are.

We are only ever two steps away from the space connecting all of us and
the next world.

Take a deep enough breath and you will hear the fluttering of wings and
our beating hearts.

So hold tight to those you love no matter how hard they try to fight or trouble you.

Look how fragile we are,
how fragile we really are.

Our birth is like a long blue-veined sleep and a forgetting.
We shed our shells into fragile bodies right from the beginning.
So wide-eyed and unsure of the mysteries ahead, hesitating.
Asleep to the golden gates, among friends, timeless and waiting.

Look how fragile we are,
how fragile we really are.

Look how fragile we are,
how fragile we really are.

---

Love you and miss you, Ry ...
