Joseph Kellam Obituary
Salisbury - Joseph Roy Kellam, Jr., 80, of Laurel, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at his home. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Joseph R. Kellam, Sr. and Dorothy Kellam. He was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Dottie Kellam.
"Sonny" was a US Navy veteran and a devoted 44 year member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church. He worked for DuPont for over 40 years until he retired. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, especially playing the steel guitar and singing at church on the praise and worship team.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of nearly 41 years, Louise Marie Kellam; 8 children, David Kellam (Heather) of Hebron, Kevin Kellam of Pittsburgh, PA, Marie Thomas of Leesburg, FL, Tina Seaton of Parsonsburg, Debbie Brown (Rick) of Pittsville, Denise Redfern of Lakeland, FL; William Graver, Jr. of Laurel, DE, and Mark Graver (Polly) of Pittsville; 32 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Brown of Laurel, DE; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Delmarva Evangelistic Church with Pastor Robert "Buzz" Gregory officiating. There will be visitations at the church on Thursday evening from 6-8pm and also on Friday from 10-11am. Interment will be held at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 407 E. Gordy Rd., Salisbury, MD 21804.

He was my cousin, growing up had alot of fun together. His kindness and devotion to his religion will be missed. The hug he gave Me , and saying he loved me a week before his passing I treasure. Love you cuz
