Al Arnold accomplished the greatest planned physical feat in history. All of you know what that was: lowest point in the US to the very top of Mt. Whitney, the highest point, 144 miles, non-stop, August, Death Valley.
Two buddies were showing me around the Quail Court Health Club as part of their effort to convince me to move my offices to the Quail Court Development. Part of their tour included showing me the steam room. There, lost in the billowing swirls of steam was a mirage on a stationary bike. The figure wore several coats, scarves, hats, and gloves. He pedaled furiously.
Man, I whispered, what the hell is that?
Oh, that's Al. He's runs the club.
Oh.
Yes, oh; that's Al. He's training for a unique run.
I'll say. Good on ya, Al.

My friend Al Arnold. He was gracious to invite me to stay with him. He was a legend

My sincere condolences to your family. May God "who comforts us in all our trials" (2 Cor 1:4) comfort you and your family at such a difficult time. I know God will help you to endure because he cares for you (1Peter 5 :7).
