Clifford Carroll Bean passed away peacefully on December 10, 2018 in Danville, California. He was born on February 10, 1949 in Winter Park, Florida to parents Clifford and Edna Bean. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many.
Clifford was a friend to all and never knew a stranger, he was a true Southern Gentleman. He was an avid sports follower regardless of the sport and loved coaching his kids in baseball, softball, football, soccer and lacrosse. Playing golf with his buddies, fishing and hunting was in his blood. Cliff was an ATO fraternity brother at University of Florida and was a true Gator which led to some lively and lovely wagers between his family who are avid Florida State Seminole fans. Go rest high on that mountain Cliff, you will be greatly missed by all who knew you. We will see you in Heaven!
He is survived by his wife Jeannie; children: Jason Bean, Jennifer Bean Mersch and her husband Dan, Kristin Bean, Justin Bean and Kendall Bean; grandchildren: Taylor Bean, Reagan Mersch, Peyton Bean and Reese Bean; sister-in-law's Linda Jones and Kathy Blake; nephews: Jason and Christopher; nieces: Lindsay, Alex and Debra.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM, in the Chapel of Wilson & Kratzer Chapel of San Ramon Valley, 825 Hartz Way, Danville, California 94526.

A nicer man cannot be found. Cliff took my son under his wing as his TVLL coach back in the nineties and they remained great friends right up until his untimely passing, Cliff would never call him by his real name but rather by a knickname Ciff had coined' Big Country It still sticks with him to this day. Cliff always made sure to work with the lesser skilled players on his team, ensuring they would have equal opportunities to play. As a result, we may have lost a few games we could have won but the players gelled more as a team believing that ANYONE at any given time could be given the opportunity to deliver the big hit or make that big catch. Cliff, I enjoyed our many sports related talks and will truly miss not seeing you walking in the door with your crooked smile barking about the latest team Florida was going to beat. Gods Speed to the next big game. Save me seat, drinks are on me. You lived life on your terms, as it always should be! Rest well my friend.

I'm so very sorry to hear that Cliff passed away. I will always remember our families getting together on the baseball field, or dinners just celebrating our lives in Danville. Jeannie you and the family will be in my prayers.
