I was very sick with a high fever for several days.. I remember Dr. Lamp making a house call. I was only 7 or 8 . He was a very caring person.

Dear Mary, I was saddened to read you have lost Al. Though I did not know him, I'm reminded of the brief time when you and I were colleagues back in the day.....My sympathies and blessings to you and your family.

What an honor it has been to have Albert Lamp as part of our family. He and Chuck, his brother, were first cousins to Ken, my father, Earl and Dorothy, who all grew up together in Conneaut, Ohio. Albert was such an accomplished, friendly, kind, wonderful person to know. With his passing I feel the end of that generation.

My sympathy to the Albert Lamp family. Dr. Lamp was my boss for about 15 years. He was kind, encouraging and attentive to the work we did for the Medical Staff while he was VP for Medical Affairs. Because of the person he was, he encouraged me to further my affiliation with an organization for Medical Staff Administrative Assistants where I became certified and eventually an officer of the organization. I never would have done any of that without his great leadership techniques. But more than that he was a good man. I am sorry I was not able to attend the viewing or ceremony. Lucille Sitzler

In 1960 we had a baby girl who passed away a few days after birth. While I was in the hospital recovering from the c-section our 5 year old son was ill and Dr. lamp made a house call to exam him. He always made house calls and was a very caring man. He gave our son medication and waited with him to be sure he felt better. When my husband asked him how much we owed him he told him you and your family have been through enough, there is no charge. We will always remember him as an excellent physician and a very compassionate person. Our sympathies to his family. May your memories give you comfort in the days ahead.

Dr. Lamp was my pediatrician when I was 8-years-old. Last doctor I can remember who made house calls.
