Bonita L. Albright

NEW OXFORD Bonita L. "Bonnie" (Mummert) Albright, 70, died Thursday, March 12, 2015, at her residence. Bonnie was the wife of G. Ronald Albright, and they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 29, 2015. Bonnie was born August 30, 1944, in Nashville, Pa., the daughter of the late Earl E. and Dorothy A (Runk) Mummert. Bonnie was a life-long member of Trinity U.C.C. in Hanover, a member with the Eastern Star and Elks, B.P.O.E Hanover, and The Hanover Area Parrot Head Society. Bonnie was a nursery school teacher at the Trinity U.C.C. for over 10 years, and a teacher for the Hanover School District for 10 years. Bonnie became "Runner-up" for the Teacher of the Year award by the State of PA 1966-67. Bonnie was co-owner and treasurer of Hanover Concrete Co. for over 26 years. She loved to work in her flower garden, spending time with her grandchildren, and vacationing with her husband in Cape May, N.J. In addition to her husband, Ron, Bonnie is survived by a son, David R. Albright and his wife, Heather M. of Hanover; a daughter, Michelle A. Schultz and her husband, James D. of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Zachary M. and Carson D. Albright, both of Hanover, and Sophia A. and Ella G. Schultz, both of Philadelphia; a brother, Lanny E. Mummert, and a sister, Patricia M. Guise, both of New Oxford. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Trinity U.C.C., 116 York St., Hanover, with the Rev. Brenda K. Marin officiating. Burial will be in New Oxford Cemetery. There will be no viewing, however the family will receive friends on Monday at the Feiser Funeral Home, Inc., 302 Lincolnway West, New Oxford, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. At the family's request, please omit flowers.
