of Princeton, MA; 83

PRINCETON, MA -- Ann M. (O'Connor) Lavin, 83, passed away at home in Princeton, MA on Monday, March 20, 2017. Ann was born in Fitchburg, MA on February 11, 1934, the daughter of Herbert O'Connor and Anna (Cote) O'Connor of Fitchburg, MA. She was happily married to David A. Lavin, originally of Leominster, MA for 45 years, prior to his death in 2015.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Lavin of Somerville, MA, her brother James O'Connor of Fitchburg, MA, and over twenty nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother Herbert O'Connor Jr., of Longmeadow, MA.

Ann was an avid reader. She enjoyed travelling and loved the ocean. She particularly enjoyed her time with family at Hampton Beach, NH and Cape Hatteras, NC.

LAVIN -- Ann will be cremated, and at her request there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Gardner Visiting Nurses Association, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
