Mary Bashlor Obituary
Titusville - Mary Helen Dorsey Bashlor, 77, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2018.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Bashlor; children, Robin (Mike) Ryder, Kelly Thomas, Sami (Mike) Bolger; a sister, and 5 grandchildren. She was predeceased by one grandchild.
Mary Helen grew up in Lawrence, Kansas before moving to Titusville in 1966 where she and Jack raised their family before retiring in Mims. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to all. She enjoyed a successful career in real estate after raising her children. She was an active member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and later Mims United Methodist Church where she shared her gifts of music and faith. Mary Helen's grace and loving spirit will live on in the many lives she touched and helped including her last gift of participating in a program working toward finding future cures for lung cancer.
Funeral Arrangements are being entrusted to Island Cremation in Merritt Island. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 2, 2019 at Mims United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of St. Francis 1250 Grunman Place, Titusville, FL 32780.

Let it be known that this woman was the best aunt in the world. She had a heart of gold. She was so caring and loving and I will miss her dearly. Thank you. Aunt Mary Helen for the positive impact and influence that you had on my life, traits that I wish to hand down to my children. I'll never forget you.
