LaRue, with sadness we today learned of Duane's death. You and your family are in our prayers and thoughts. It is very lovingly and happily we remember Duane at Enka High and NC State and a few "reunions" since then. Blessings to you--Bob and Doris Smathers

LaRue,
I learned last evening of Duane's death. I send my condolences to you and your families. Talking with you and Duane was a treat for me at our last EHS Reunion. Bob Shillinglaw kept Duane's friends abreast of his condition. I know that Duane was fighting his cancer valiantly. He will be missed by many, including me. May God bless you and your families.
