My brother and I grew up on 6th street. We played softball, from morning to night with Ken, Ron, Jack Evans, Ron Bell. Ken was very talented and always played hard. I do not ever remember him doing anything wrong. He was a good friend and a had a lot of impact on my younger days. He did come to visit our house one day when he d I were was on leave, but my brother and I were both in the service and missed him. He probably is in heaven playing softball.

Dear Juanita, so sorry to learn of your husband's passing. Reading the online obituary flooded my mind with so many memories of my childhood when you, along with Billie Jean and eventually Markie babysat my sister and me for quite a few years. Oh how we loved the Dawson sisters! When we were kids, your marriage to Ken was the very first wedding we ever attended and still remember it vividly. You and your sisters certainly made for many happy times during our growing up years, especially during our summer breaks when school wasn't in session. Our hearts go out to you.
With our deepest sympathy,

Love this picture of Ken! My warmest memories of him were his smiling face...and of course how you lit up Juanita, when you heard his voice and saw his face at the office! Love how you loved him!
Hugs to you today!

Ken, I miss you so much already. I can't believe we will not play cards together again. My poker tournaments won't be the same. To Juanita, Ken Jr. And his family, Jeff, Kathy and their children, my heart breaks for all of you. Always remember the great times. Just know he is in a much better place and painfree. I love all of you.
