Robert Louis Caron

CARON, Robert Louis Robert Louis Caron, 60, of Bristol, died under hospice care at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain on Friday, (June 22, 2007). Robert was born on March 22, 1947 in Hartford, a son of the late Louis and Priscilla (Pinette) Caron. Mr. Caron graduated form East Hartford High School in 1966 and received a degree in Industrial Engineering from Central Connecticut State University. Mr. Caron was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service for many years. He was a man who possessed a wonderful sense of humor, was an avid Red Sox fan and a passionate baseball card collector. The light of his life was his son Nathan and he especially enjoyed their camping trips together to New Hampshire and their trip to California. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and was a jewelry designer and silversmith. He is survived by his beloved son, Nathan Robert Caron of Burlington; his loving sister and brother-in-law, Diana and Peter DeLisa of Chester; his caring brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Allison Caron of Waltham, MA and Patrick and Diane Caron of Andover; his four nephews, Matthew and Ben DeLisa and Peter and David Caron; his niece, Robyn Caron; his godson, Brandon Pizzoferrato and his former wife, Anna Pizzoferrato of Burlington. Calling hours will be from 5-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Forestville.
