William Cunnane, 91, of Farmington, husband of Kathleen (Egan) Cunnane died Saturday, (November 29, 2003). Born in County Mayo, Ireland June 4, 1912, son of the late James and Mary (Brannick) Cunnane, he resided in the Hartford area for 54 years. Prior to retiring, he was a carpenter with Carpenters Local Union #43 in Hartford for over 50 years. He was a communicant at the Church of St. Patrick in Farmington. Besides his wife , he is survived by his son, James P. Cunnane of Farmington, his son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Brenda Cunnane of Norfolk, VA; his daughter Christine M. McCourt of Farmington; a brother, Francis Cunnane in Ireland; a sister Rita Ford in England; a granddaughter, Patricia Cunnane and a great grandson, Timothy Michael. He was predeceased by three brother, Michael, John and Jarlath Cunnane; and two sister, Elizabeth Stark and Nora McNally. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Patrick, Main St., Farmington. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are being handled by The Ahern Funeral Homes, Inc.
