Marie Ostrander Obituary
Marie was born May 6, 1949 in New Brunswick, N.J. She met and later married Allen Ostrander on May 18, 1968. Together they had four children, seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family then re-located to Holland, MI in 1995. Marie retired from Herman Miller. She loved the San Francisco 49ers, the New York Mets and Stephen King. Marie loved her family very, very much. She was an amazing mother, wife and grandmother. She was the epitome of love. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen in 2009.
She is survived by her children, Dawn Ostrander of Holland, Brian Ostrander of Holland, Jody Ostrander of Paw Paw, and Jason Ostrander of Zeeland; grandchildren, Michael, Amanda, and Brandon Brancaccio, Dakota Colnick, Abby Ostrander, Kaelee and Shayla Vogt; great grandchildren, Jayden and Brooklyn and another due in December; sister, Margaret Lavin of New Jersey; brother, Richard and Lorriane Guzinski of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Dykstra Funeral Home – Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland. Father Corwin Stoppel will be officiating. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Mulder Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Ostrander family.
