Kermit Anders Obituary

Kermit Lewis Anders, 95, of Mouth of Wilson, Va., passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at his residence.
Kermit was born May 11, 1926, in Grayson County, Va., to the late Posey Fred and Hallie B. Halsey Anders.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Otis Anders and Hurley Anders; and two sisters, DeEtte Sells and Dorothy Crouse.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Rosa Lee Anders; two sons, Calvin Anders of Mouth of Wilson and Kermit Junior Blackburn and wife, Cindy, of Darlington, Md.; three daughters, Paula Jones and husband, Gary, of Mouth of Wilson, Inez Worrell and husband, James, of Sparta, N.C., and Barbara Crouse of Sparta, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren to include three special great-grandchildren, Dustin Blevins, Mianna Blevins and Bryson Jones; three great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Muncy Anders and wife, Madeline, of Elk Creek, Va.; two sisters, Louise Shatley and husband, Larry, of Sparta, N.C., and Imogene Lamm of Madisonville, Tenn.; and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rugby Rescue Squad, 53 Rugby Road, Mouth of Wilson, Va. 24363.
