Maureen Otto Obituary

Otto, Maureen F.A. (nee Barnfather) Found peace on November 30, 2013 at the age of 80. Loving Mum of Denise (Timothy) Rasmussen, the late Steven (Mary Ellen) and David (Julayne). Loving Nana of Elizabeth (fiancé Brent Wiskirchen), Emily (Justin) Krause, Molly (fiancé Tim Goodearle), Margaret, Abigail and Anne Rasmussen, Allison (Daryl) Fiene, Sara (Travis) Mocco, Philip (Stefania) Otto and Ryan and Robert Wegs. Great Nana to Philippa, Logan, Emma, Colin and Eli. Cherished sister of Philip Barnfather. Dearest and best friend of Patricia Sullivan. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A celebration of Maureen's life will be held Tuesday 4-7 pm with a service of remembrance at 7 pm at the Max A. Sass & Sons Greenridge Chapel. Maureen's heart was always in her home of London.

We were very saddened to hear about Maureen's passing. She was a dear friend of my parents, Harvey and Patricia Johnson and attended our wedding in 1998. She was so kind and wonderful when my Mom passed away. Her kind and generous spirit will be greatly missed.

Aunty Maureen will only ever be remembered with love and good memories.She was so thoughtful and never ever missed sending a birthday card to any of her family in England. Two years ago she spent Christmas with us in her beloved London and it was lovely spending time with her and listening to her stories from years ago.
