Wichita, Kansas - Alan V. Crumrine, 77, of Wichita, KS, passed away on January 18th, 2021. He was born December 17th, 1943 to parents Virgil and Corrine (Smith) Crumrine in Wichita. Alan served as a member on the founding Board of Directors for Rainbows United and the A.R.C.. He served on the Board of Directors for Starkey Inc.. He was also a founding member of the ARC Hope Parent Group and member of the Starkey Parent Guardian Group. Alan was a member of the Wichita Harley Davidson Owners Group, a Scout Master for Troop 714 and girls soccer coach for AYSO. Alan had a long career as a Manufacturing Engineer at Engenio Information Systems, formerly LSI and NCR. Alan loved riding his motorcycles, he loved spending time with his family and many friends and loved being Grandpa C.. He is preceded in death by his father, Virgil Crumrine and his mother, Corrine (Smith) Crumrine. He is survived by his wife Carol (Redden) Crumrine, son Douglas V. Crumrine, daughters Michele Crumrine, Candyce (Jonathan) Braaten, and grandchildren Michael and Matthew Braaten. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Starkey Inc., or the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Alan. Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 25th, 2021 at 2:00pm, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
