GREGORY L. NORMAN

NORMAN, GREGORY L. - age 58, passed away January 7, 2015 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was preceded in death by parents, J.B. and Evelyn (Howard) Norman and older brother, Michael. He is survived by his fiancée, Darlene Simpson, Maryville, TN; cats Sjofyn & Bubba; sister, Cheryl Norman, Knoxville, TN; and brother, Jeffrey Norman, Franklin, NC. He is also survived by parents of choice, Daryl & Betty Clark, Heiskell, TN; aunt, Hilda Armes, Maumee, OH; uncles, James (Connie) Norman, Wilmington, IL and Charles (Barbara)Howard, Dayton, OH; special granddaughter, Morgan Simpson; a niece, grand nieces & nephews, cousins, and many friends. The family wishes to thank Greg's friends and co-workers at Denso for their visits, phone calls, and support during his illness. He appreciated it more than you will ever know. The family also wishes to thank the nurses, doctors, and other staff at Blount Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Cancer Unit, MICU, and Transfusion Unit for your kindness to and care of Greg during his many trips to your facilities. Thanks too, to Katie, Stephanie, Jodie, and Anna at University Cancer Specialists for your kindness, care, and support to Greg. Per his wishes, no funeral service will be held.
