The relationship between Anne and Whitley is a model of the endurance of love, and the human spirit. I don't know either of you but your remarkable connection is apparent. Anne's light continues to shine.

Not sure if anniversaries like these make one sad or joyous. Probably both. I have seen Whitley speak on 3 occasions, but Annie was not at the events, the last one was in Burbank for Dr. Roger Leir. I had been in the SoCal area and could not pass up, the chance to see/hear Whitley and the other speakers(and I was hoping to see Annie there).At that time Annie had been suffering from a foot problem if I recall. It would have been nice to hear her speak, although it just was not meant to be. We readers, though, do appreciate all the input she had on Whitley's writings and thinking. She has been missed. I hope Whitley and his family realize that many of us recognized Ann's importance to his work, as well as her support of Whitley.

Anne had amazing eyes, the light of a soul that lives on was illuminating them. I once had an out of body experience, and I know that she is out there enjoying the freedom. And I am happy to know that.

Deliverance:
A child is born into an alien world...
defenseless.
With growth, the body toughens, to weather the storm of life.
With the years; The plasticity of youth
grows rigid and worn.
The erosion of time works it's way;
crumbling the foundation;
giving birth to the soul;
delivered unto God.
My deepest sympathies to the Streiber family

We have known that this day was coming, may have even mentally told ourselves that Anne was going to a better place. However, it is just not that easy. Although the majority of us never met Anne, we felt that we knew her through her writings and Whitley's comments. We are going to miss her influence and impressions on the website. I hope that Whitley's latest book was fully edited and otherwise done, so that Anne could read it before she passed. One last thing: Whitley's closing of her last editorial was very difficult, very bittersweet, and appropriate. God Bless you Anne, and Andrew and family.

At times like this I like to think about the first law of thermodynamics.
That the energy that was she will never leave the cosmos, it will continue on for trillions upon trillions of years in just as many forms.
A bird, a child, a snowflake, the heart of a supernova and perhaps a flower.
I'm sorry for your loss.

Anne and Whitley seemed like friends, although I never met them. I loved the weekly Dreamland programs and the columns on UnknownCountry, and followed Anne's recovery from her stroke. I will miss her as a dear friend and pray for strength for her family.
