Sylvia Miller Obituary

September 13, 1927 - April 28, 2021 SYLVIA SCHMIDT MILLERIt is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sylvia Miller. Sylvia peacefully passed away on April 28th after saying good bye to her children and grandchildren telling them how much she loved them.She was born in New York City the daughter of Gertie and Joe Krolowitz, and in 1947 after marrying Charles Schmidt moved to California, where they started a family.Together with her second husband Art Miller they traveled the world, enjoyed wonderful times with friends and family that spread far and wide. Sylvia was active in her book club, the Sisterhood of Temple Sinai of Glendale, the Music Center and Hollywood Bowl. Dining with friends and family brought her great joy, especially her holiday dinners.Sylvia will be fondly remembered for her strong will, loving kindness and warm affectionate hugs and kisses.Sylvia is survived by her two children Roberta (Conrad) Furlong, David (Stella) Schmidt, grandsons Greg (Katie) Schmidt, Mark (Shar) Schmidt and great-grandson Alex as well as numerous cousins and extended family.
