I just learned of Stephen's passing and am very sad. I really enjoyed working with him the last twenty years. He was consistently kind, patient and just a bright light in my day. He will be missed. Delia Swan

To: DeDe,Katherine and John,
I want to extend my condolences on the loss of your father and husband. I worked with Steve when I was at General Star. I am proud to say that I knew him and worked with him. Steve was not just a a great person but one of the best attorneys that I had ever worked with. He was a credit to the legal profession.
My deepest sympathy,
John G. Carroll

I was saddened to hear about Steve's passing. During the time I worked at B&T, Steve was the consummate attorney, professional and knowledgeable. My condolences to the family. Memory eternal.

I was very sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I know what devoted husband and father he was and I know that this will be a great loss to all who knew and loved him. Steve was such a kind, smart man and I always enjoyed working for him. He was truly one of the best attorneys I have ever worked for, a joy to work with and know, and a good man. My thoughts go out to you all. He will be missed.
