Suzanne Boltz Obituary

LEBANON Suzanne D. Boltz, 65, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 10, 2011 after fighting a courageous 4-1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of Roger Boltz for 45 years. Suzanne was born in Lebanon on February 27, 1946. She was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Catherine M. Hiltz Reich. She was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. She was a member of the Church of St. Cecilia and the Resurrection Choir. She was a Eucharistic Minister, Catechist of St. Cecilia and Regnum Christi. Suzanne worked for 20 years in the propane gas industry as a credit manager, working at Carlos R. Leffler Propane and last working at Amerigas Propane's Harrisburg office. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Paul M. Boltz; four daughters, Suzanne D. wife of Robert Allen, Kim M. wife of Patrick Kearney, Melissa A. wife of Richard Heim and Angela M. wife of Robert Rios; 13 grandchildren, Katrina, Connor, Erin, Adam, Michael, Mary, John, Joseph, Emily, Sophia, Sarah, James, and Jude; also her two cats, Clementine and Dativa. Her most cherished moments were spent with her family and she will be greatly missed. Funeral Mass Tuesday, August 16, at 11 a.m., at the Church of St. Cecilia, 202 E. Lehman St., Lebanon 17046. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Viewing hours Monday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon 17042 and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Sisters of St. Francis Retirement Program, 609 S. Convent Rd., Aston, PA 19014. Suzanne was a beautiful person, inside and out...She was an angle on earth. Worried about everyone but herself. I was very proud to be her friend, and she will be missed by all...Love ya, Miss ya..

To the family: Suzie and I grew up together as kids. We played many a day. I
am so sorry to hear what she had to go through these last few years. I canot make it to the funeral but your prayers are with me. I understand what sadness you are going through; I lost my husband two years ago in September. Remember all the good times you enjoyed; it helps.
