His children: Andrew Fredricks, Makenna Jensen, Nathan Jensen, Amber (Richard) Ruthruff, Ricky Ruthruff, and Bradley (Amanda) Simon.
Parents: John and Louise Fredricks.
Brothers and Sisters: Cheryl (Steve) Gaudard, Jeff (Jackie) Fredricks, Brian Fredricks, Danny (Mickie) Fredricks & Mary Beth (Bruce) Eldred.
Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by Zackery Ruthruff, grandparents: Otto & Daisy Fredricks and Richard and Ethel Guenthardt.
Funeral Services: 11:00 am Thursday Aug. 13, 2009 at the St. Paul´s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Remus, MI. Officiating is Pastor Jonathan Voss. Visitation 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday at funeral home. Burial in Decker Cemetery of Blanchard. Memorials may be left at the funeral home. For online register book and obit see www.legacy.com. Care and arrangements entrusted to the Crittenden-Hansen Funeral Home of Remus.

Greg was one great guy. The family is suffering from this sad loss as well as our entire community. Greg would do anything for anyone. He will be greatly missed. My sympathy to John, Louise and their entire family.

Greg will be missed for sure. I am so that I was unable to come to his final celebration of his life (as they say in the south). We think the world of Greg and it is hard to believe he is gone. He was a kind generous person and we will miss him more than words can say. There are so many people that were touched by him and he won't be forgotten. I only hope he knows how much people care for him. People aren't exaggerating when they say that he was one of a kind. He truly was, and we are so glad and lucky to have known him.

Uncle Greg taught me so much that I will never ever forget but the most important was UNCONDITIONAL LOVE (and somebody pooped on my shirt--my state shirt) No matter what Uncle Greg always loved us for who we are regardless if agreed with our decisions or not (and he let us know if he disagreed) I will love and remember you! You were a great man! You have raised many children in your image... they are all amazing people as well... you taught us all well.

The sad news of Greg's passing was quite the shock and extremely sad. Greg will be remembered for his hard work and great sense of humor. The Knox family sends it prayers to the Fredrick's family it your time of sorrow.

Greg was a strong but kind individual and I feel very lucky to have had the experience of growing up as one of his neighborhood friends in Millbrook. I will always remember playing childhood games and sports with Greg and brothers. He was a great person and I was always impressed by his toughness, especially in sports. The Cummings family will prayer for his family. Greg you will be missed.

Sunday evenings storm reflected the anger and sorrow we all felt losing Greg. But when the rainbow came it brought a calm that we all needed. It was a beautiful sight. Life will never be the same. We will miss you Greg.

The mold was broke after Greg was made. He will always be an inspiration to me. His zest for life, family and having fun was apparent to anyone who knew him and loved him. He will be deeply missed and always loved. Until we meet again my sweet cousin. RIP
