Jeanette Rosenberg Born May 11th, 1931. Daughter of the late Polish immigrants, Eva and Morris Shuman. Sister of the late Oscar and Herman Shuman. Beloved wife of the late Robert Rosenberg. She is survived by 3 children: Mark Rosenberg, Terri Marcellino, and Barry Rosenberg. Loving Mother-inlaw of Joseph Marcellino and Cheryl Rosenberg. Devoted grandmother of Jason Oakerson, Robert Marcellino, Shauna Marcellino, Haylee Marcellino, Angelina Rosenberg, Nicholas Rosenberg, Rachel Langan, and Daniel Rosenberg. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Jeanette graduated from West Philadelphia High School class of 1949. In these days she met who would become her life-long friends. After high school, she went on to marry Robert (Bobby) Rosenberg on January 25th, 1953, whom she built her life and family with. When Jeanette wasn't at home with her family, she worked as a secretary until she retired at the age of 62 and became a volunteer at Lankenau Hospital. Jeanette devoted her life to helping people and putting everyone's needs before her own. She had a smile that could light up the room and an infectious laugh that could bring joy to anyone's ears. Jeanette was truly the center of all the love that is her family. Anyone who had a chance to know her is truly privileged and her memory will live on in every person's life she has ever touched. Contributions in Jeanette's memory can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

I grew up with Jeanette's grandson, Jason Oakerson, and we were the best friends and continue to be to this day. Jeanette treated me like her own grandson, and I thought of her as another Grandmother, so much so that I often called her "Mom-Mom". I will forever be grateful for her love, kindness, patience and sense of humor. She was a calming and very positive influence on my life, and her altruistic behavior and sense of selfless service impacted me greatly as a child and her example continues to influence me as an adult. Thanks for everything, Mom-Mom. You were the best.

Terri , Mark and Barry
Your mom was an important person in my life . She didn’t birth me but treated me as a daughter, defended me , loved me and always praised me and Frank and our my family together . She trusted ( allowed ) me to hang out with Terri when we were kids even though she knew we were both going to get in trouble.
Later in life I could call her the night before I was going to Philly to go out for breakfast or lunch and she would go . Always listening , always smiling , sometimes stern but again always glad to see me I will miss you aunt Jeanette RIP
