Donna Roscia Obituary

Donna J. Roscia, 57
WELLS -- Donna J. Roscia, 57, a resident of Jefferds Way, died on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at Maine Medical Center in Portland following a brief illness.
Donna was born on Feb. 12, 1957, in South Windsor, Conn., the daughter of Roy Bugbee and Marjorie (Harvey) Bradshaw, and is a graduate of South Windsor High School.
She moved to Maine in 1977, and worked as a coffee barrister, most recently with Starbucks, at the former Stop & Shop and the Maine Turnpike Southbound service plaza.
Donna loved her home and found great comfort from caring for it, tending her flower gardens, heaping love on her pet shih-tzu's and her husband Steve, and watching the wild life that wandered into her back yard.
Following the death of her mother-in-law on May 7, 2014, she and her father-in-law Anthony would have morning coffee and take shopping trips together.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Stephen Roscia of Wells; a sister, Teri Badget of Chicago; her father-in-law, Anthony Roscia of Kennebunk; three brothers-in-law, Patrick of Canton, Mass., Anthony of Stoughton, Mass., and Joseph of South Portland; and her two dogs, Toby and Little Man.
Visiting hours will be from 12 to 3 p.m., followed by words of remembrance at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, at the Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St. Kennebunk. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk. www.bibberfuneral.com.

She was truly a breath of fresh air every morning when I came into work. She didn't take any sass from anyone. She was always a wealth of advice in the times that I needed it, and an entertainer when I needed a laugh. She is already sorely missed. My condolences to her close family and friends for their loss.
