Steven Winkler Obituary
Steven R. Winkler, 23, of Lower Macungie Township, passed away on July 26, 2013 after receiving injuries from an automobile accident. He graduated from Emmaus High School in 2008 and received an Associate in Applied Science degree from LCCC in 2011 in Computer Specialist/Network Technology. Survivors: Mother, Ellen Winkler, with whom he resided; father, Philip Winkler; sister, Jennifer Winkler; grandfather, Arnold Abramowitz; cousins, Scott and Robert Paster; and stepsisters, Debbie Delmastro and Cheryl Winkler. He was predeceased by grandparents, Betty Abramowitz, and Max and Helen Winkler; aunt and uncle, Lynn and Alan Paster. Services: 1 p.m., Monday, July 29, at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 1629 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Keneseth Israel Cemetery, Allentown. Contributions: charity of choice.

Steven,
My loving son and friend, you left us way too soon. You will always be in my heart, my thoughts, my prayers. I am thankful for all of the memories I have and that I was able to spend time with you in February and that we spoke on Thursday evening, 25 July.
My last words to Steven were how I ended every phone call with him, “I love you Steven.” I miss you so much Steven. Rest in peace son.

Absolutely gutted to hear the very sad news of winky's tragic accident, im from the UK but spoke and played with steve pretty much every day over a period of 5-6 yrs on xbox live, only did i speak to him the night before the morning of the accident, he was such a nice guy and we had alot of good times and laughs playing halo, condolences to all the winkler family at this very sad time, i will certainly miss speaking with him and gaming, R.I.P Steve we will meet again one day buddy x

Dear Ellen,
I was so sad to read about Steven's accident. It was a coincidence that we ran into each other a few months ago at the bagel shop. Your family was one that I remembered with fondness, even after 18 years. I recall sitting with you, Jennifer and Steven at Hope Church so many years ago. Please know that Steven's life was a blessing and he will live forever in the hearts and memories of those who were so very fortunate to know him.

It is extremely sad to hear this news. I had the pleasure of sitting next to Steve during drafting & architecture classes in high school. Everyday we would discuss what game to play to pass the time. No matter what we chose, he always had one of those memorable type laughs that I will never forget. You will be missed.
