1957 - 2016
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of George at the age of 58, on Thursday, February 18, 2016. Cherished and adored husband to Sia, loving father and father-in-law to Peggy and Marc, Denise and Gabriel, beloved grandfather to Lizzie and Katie. He is also survived by his loving sisters Litsa and Leta and their families. George touched many lives with his honesty, integrity and great sense of family. His dedication was unrivalled. George's pride and joy were his granddaughters. They brought him much joy and love. He will be missed terribly by all of us, he was our rock. Funeral service at: La Maison Darche, 7679 Boul. Taschereau, Brossard, J4Y 1A2, 450-463-1900. Visitation Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in George's memory to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Until we meet again.

My sincere condolences to the family. Can't believe an old friend from High School has left us so soon. I will never forget you and the good old times he had at D'Arcy McGee. Rest in peace my friend.

I was sadden to read of George's passing today. I went to high school with Sia, and I remember when they started dating, I even attended their wedding. I have a lot of fond memories for the time I knew them both. You have my deepest condolences, and may the love, and memories you have carry you through this difficult time.
