very special man he was. It is just too
difficult for me at this time.

I have been unable to talk about dad since his passing. He was my hero, the most terrific father and husband anyone could ask for. He was devoted and loved my mother for about 70 years. In that time period he was a hard worker with a great since of humor.
I know that the family all carry, individually, wonderful memories of dad. Our family was so blessed to have him for so long.
Love you dad,
Cindy

Grandpa Al was a treasure to us all. He had a contagious sense of humor that could light up any room. He knew every joke that had every been told. A few of which, I'm sure he penned himself. Somehow, though, he never seemed to tell the same one twice. His quick wit, loyal nature, and big heart are what endeared to him to us all. We miss him terribly every day, but know he is happy, with a fishing pole in one hand, just waiting for us on the other side.
Love you Grandpa! Bryan, Ann, and Brandon

Grandpa was always quick with a joke and a smile. He treated everyone as his best buddy. I knew whenever I got to spend time with him it was a going to be a great day.
Grandpa you are and will be missed forever by anyone who had the privilege of meeting you.

Grandpa was a wonderful, funny, and charming man. He was a loving and caring husband to Grandma. I always adored the way he looked at Grandma with so much love in his eyes. I remember spending some Christmas mornings at his home in Detroit as a young child, and also coming to Marco Island with my girlfriends and always feeling welcome and loved:) He will be missed by many, but will be kept close to our hearts forever.

Dad was an amazing man. I'll never forget the first time I met him. I will always be thankful for the way he and Mom welcomed me into the family and made me one of their own.
I will miss him and love him forever.

Grandpa was and will be forever one of the most amazing men I will ever meet. He was truly a family man and loved Grandma and his family with his whole being. I will miss most of all his stories. I loved hearing about his fishing stories and his jokes. Pata could always bring a smile even in the saddest moments. I remember one specific fishing day when it was just me and him out on his little aluminum boat on Marco. I had caught a fairly good sized Sheephead. Just another fishing day among many but I remember that one most because it was just Pata and I. I could go on forever with stories and thoughts of Grandpa. :) I will miss him tremendously. Rest In Peace Grandpa.

Al was one of the sweetest men I have ever met, and I always enjoyed listening to him flirt with "Ruthie". I will miss his smile, which was the first part of him to enter any room. I love you, Al, and pray we'll meet again in Heaven. My heart is with Ruth and the family.
