Arthur Jonmark Rushing MINT HILL - Arthur Jonmark Rushing, 42, of Mint Hill, passed away October 28, 2015. He was born in Charlotte and graduated from Independence High School. Jon loved to travel and enjoyed being outdoors. He was an avid sports fan and had a passion for bodybuilding. He is survived by his parents Jerry and Janet Rushing; aunts Wanda Bullard (Bill), Margaret Lechler (Edwin) and Helen Beaver (Wesley); uncles, Chad Messer, and Ron Messer (Linda). Jon was preceded in death by his grandparents: Arthur and Evelyn Messer and Carl and Gertrude Rushing. A visitation with the family will be from 12-1pm Monday, at McEwen Funeral Service, Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Rd. in Mint Hill. A graveside service will immediately follow the visitation in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill. Condolences may be offered at www.mcewenminthill.com.
