AUSTIN LYON Obituary
Born March 10, 1926, long time resident of New York City and Boca Raton, FL passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Beloved husband of the late of Elaine N. Lyon. Loving father of the late Janet (Norman) Roskin and Alfred (Linda) Lyon. Austin was the adoring grandfather of David (Gauri) Lyon, Meredith (Clint) Rafail, Jennifer (Jason) Drake and Jessica (Marques) Johnson. Austin was also blessed to be a great-grandfather of six: Kieran and Mira Lyon, Marin, Emerson and Brenton Rafail and Jonathan Drake. Austin had a love of life, traveling, boating, skiing and spending time with his wide circle of friends. He also loved good movies and good restaurants but only if it included his beloved wife of 72 years by his side. Private burial will be conducted at Beth Olom Cemetery, Ridgewood (Queens), NY.
