Troy loves you so much. He asks me "why, why did she have to go"? I told him "it was time, and be happy she is no longer suffering. She is a free beautiful angel up in heaven now". He said, "now she can be with us anytime she wants". I said, "yes, she can".
We found a poem for you we read at your beautiful service yesterday. I hope you like it.
A beautiful angel is all that is here
Saying O'Lord please leave me here
Not ready to leave but has to go
Wants to go back but God says no
A husband and children
Grandchildren and friends
A meaningful life that suddenly ends
And angel is what she was meant to be
Now think of all that she can see
Watching over her family night and day
Saying I love you in her own special way
In the night we sleep and in the day we cry
While she watches us all from her star in the sky
We love you dearly gramma, Rest in Peace.

To the entire Layton Family, We (Johnny, Rosa and Kevin Pennington) give our sincerest condolences. Bill and Barbara had a remarkable 54 year journey together, and the 10 years that I have known them have been filled with joy and laughter. Barbara is at peace now, and I know it gave her much comfort to be so lovingly taken care of by her husband these last few years. Bill, it's a testament to your character for the love and care you gave Barbara during these last arduous years, and that will help bring you peace at this difficult time.

Bill, My heart goes out to you, your family and to Barbara. I'm so glad that Johnny introduced me to you guys a few years ago. I always enjoyed riding with y'all and laughing during meals. You were blessed to have so many years together and I hope that I find someone who will complement my life as much as you guys do for each other.
