Coach Cody was a mentor and true inspiration for me in high school. His words of encouragement and sincere enthusiasm still fresh in my memory. Rest in peace to the greatest coach a young athlete ever had.

Coach Cody understood it wasn't necessarily about "sports". It was about living.. striving.. and believing that one could achieve beyond his or her expectations. I have thought of him often over the years and feel lucky to have known him.

Coach Cody, helped me to discover my love of running. I ran track and cross country under his leadership. He was a truly wonderful and caring coach & role model. I am now an avid adult runner and I thank him for my introduction to running. He will be missed, Blessings to the entire Cody Family.

Dear Barry, through all the ups & downs, Deno &I have seen you through, we will miss you greatly. Deno will think of you every time he goes fishing and miss you. And I will miss picking on you, you made it too easy. But at least now you have stoped smoking, I don't believe God lets you light up in Heaven.

I ran track and cross country for coach Cody. He was a great man. He treated all of us like his kids. He bought me running shoes when I couldn't afford them. He took me to tryout for college so that I could get a scholarship. He is greatly missed. Love you coach. Hope to see you in heaven one day.

Coach Cody was a great mentor and loved his sense of fun! The times I shared with him as one of his runners will always be cherished! He gave is opportunity to put forth effort and compete! He taught us the value in hard work and the joy of winning! He truly will be missed but forever engrained in my memories! Thanks coach for making me a winner in sports and life! May your family reflect on the best memories in life and celebrate his life! Give family the strength to endure such a difficult time in life the loss of a father and brother.

I've known Barry about 6 or 7 years. He always had a kind word. A Real Gentleman.
He was quick to laugh, And a Pleasure to be around. I sincerely wish his family the Peace of God through this terrible time. I will Miss You.

My name is Joan Rae Johnson, daughter of Jane Cody Garlow. Barry and I are First Cousins. In 2008 Barry and I had a wonderful time together in Cody Wyoming during our family reunion. We share the same Grandparents Fred and Irma Garlow, and the same Great Grandparents, William F. and Louisa Cody. Barry and I share the same love for God and the love of teaching and the experience of working with children and youth in the church. I plan to spend all of eternity with Barry. I will continue to pray for your family and loved ones....Until that day, Love Cousin Joanie
