Cooper , Bernard ("Buddy")

Bernard ("Buddy") Cooper, of Suffern (Formerly of Monsey), passed away peacefully during the morning of October 8 less than two months before his 91st birthday. Buddy was married to Enid for nearly 60 years until she passed in 2013. He is survived by 4 children (Cheryl, Scott, Ron and Andy), 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Buddy was born on Nov. 5, 1925 in Philadelphia. He was a loving husband and father, salesman, gardener, kibbitzer, tennis player, sports enthusiast and, in recent years, a terrible poker player. He will be missed greatly. Private family burial will take place on Monday. Family will be sitting Shiva on Monday evening. Contact family members for details.
