Charles Stevens Obituary

Charles Edward Stevens of Pasadena, TX passed peacefully in his sleep on February 6, 2013. He was born December 15, 1936 in Crescent, OK. After serving in the US Air Force he met and married Dolly Marilyn Oliver on May 31, 1962. Together they made their home in Pasadena, Texas - for over 50 years. He was a mechanic by trade and planes, trains and automobiles more aptly reflect his material interests. Charles was a lifetime member of the Prop-Nuts R/C Club. To those dearest to him, he was simply Daddy or Uncle Brother. He fathered 5 children - Charlie, Evelyn, Bill, James and Gina. He has been reunited with those who made their journey home ahead of him - parents Charlie & Margaret Stevens, son James, sister Mary-Ann, nephew David, grandson Angel Montoya, and many beloved others. He is survived by his wife Marilyn, his 4 children, his sister Carol Latshaw and her husband Richard, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful Daddy, husband, Paw-paw and friend.

The family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Monday February 11, 2013 at Pasadena Funeral Chapel with a funeral service at 7PM with Rev Ken Durham officiating. Burial will be at Houston National Cemetery on February 15th at 10:30AM with Military Honors provide by the United States Air Force

Mr. Stevens was always ready with a quick smile and a wave as you were driving by. If he was outside, he was feeling GOOD!
