I was just referring a friend to Chuck for legal services. I had no idea. Very sorry to hear. Chuck gave me my first job as an intern at Watson Law Office. Such a great man, extremely knowledgeable and kind. He will be missed.

Sarah- I was so saddened when I read Chuck's obituary. We had just talked about him (and you) to a shop guest. We all talked about his love of cooking and how fortunate we were to enjoy one of his meals. After the guest left, we lamented about how time passes and we let go of friendship ties. We vowed to make contact. We have such fond memories of conversations and laughter with both of you. I know you have a storehouse of great memories- I hope they bring you some measure of comfort. Our thoughts, prayers and hopes are sent your way. Nikki Baker and Tina Thornhill

Sarah & family,

I was deeply saddened to read about Chuck's passing while out of town Saturday. My contact with Chuck was mostly through the legal profession. He was a prince of a guy, always pleasant and easy to deal with, but, nevertheless, a strong advocate for his client.

To top it off, Chuck had a great sense of humor. He left us much too young

My deepest sympathies to you.

Sarah: I met Chuck a few months ago when I joined the Sojourn board. I quickly developed a healthy respect for his caring and good sense. He was very smart and always eager to help, but never over-bearing. When I finally made the connection that he was your husband, I was not surprised, since I have been a big fan of yours for many years. I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Chuck will be genuinely missed by all those who knew him and worked with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
