Colton S. Moore, 22, of Columbus, Georgia, passed away peacefully after a long battle with Ewings Sarcoma, at Columbus Hospice, October 23, 2025.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, 1:00 PM, at Morningside Baptist Church. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Colton was born on August 07, 2003, in Columbus, Georgia. A graduate of Northside High School. Colton was known for his caring and loving spirit, described as having the biggest heart, beautiful smile and strongest Faith.
Colton's faith in God and love for Jesus were integral to his life, serving as a guiding light in all he did. He dedicated much of his time to the Blue Skies Ministries, where he volunteered and served, embodying the principles of kindness and compassion that he held dear. His vibrant personality shone through in every interaction, characterized by a great sense of humor and a knack for making others feel at ease and welcomed.
In addition to his generous heart, Colton had numerous hobbies and interests that brought him joy. He loved cruising in his 2010 Camaro, attending car meets, and following sports passionately, including Alabama Football, Atlanta Braves Baseball, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta Hawks. An avid UFC and WWE fan, he also enjoyed playing Xbox with his friends, hunting, and expressing his creativity through playing guitar and singing.
Colton is survived by his loving and devoted parents, Scott and Kristi Moore. Brother, Brandon Green (Holly) and sister, Hannah Horne (Jeremy). Cherished nephews and niece, Caden, Carly and Ryder. He is also survived by his grandparents, Rebecca Brown, Mercer and Catherine Moore, including many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will remember him fondly. His beloved dog, Rio, was a devoted companion throughout his life.
Colton’s legacy is one filled with love, laughter, and memories that will be eternally cherished by those who knew him. He will be deeply missed, remembered for his unwavering spirit and the permanent mark he left on the hearts of his family, friends, and the community. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tyrone McMickle, and his dog, Buddy Max.
