With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Constance M. Fairchild, who departed this world on September 8, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on May 26, 1956, Constance lived a life filled with love and joy, deeply touching the hearts of everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Constance was a devoted mother to her beloved daughter, Bethanie L. Collins. Together, they shared an extraordinary bond that transcended the ordinary. Constance cherished every moment spent with Bethanie, moments that were often painted with laughter, warmth, and the beauty of nature.
Constance had a unique appreciation for the world around her. She found delight in the small wonders — the glistening of the sun on the lake, the rustle of leaves in the breeze, and the vibrant blooms of flowers. Music filled her spirit, creating a soundtrack to her joyous life, and her laughter resonated with those lucky enough to be in her presence. A woman of faith, she worshipped the Lord wholeheartedly, weaving her spirituality into the fabric of her everyday existence.
Her life was characterized by an unwavering gratitude for every moment spent with family. Constance's ability to create beautiful memories from the simplest of activities is a testament to her nurturing spirit. She had a remarkable gift for connecting with the people around her, sharing her love and happiness freely.
Constance’s legacy will be honored at a graveside service on October 23, 2025, at Sutherland Park Cemetery in Indianapolis, where friends and family will gather to celebrate the life of a remarkable woman. The service will begin at 11:30 a.m., concluding at 12:30 p.m.
