Dalis Jean Wallace, age 96 of Maryville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Dalis was a member of Fairpark Evangelical Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bob Wallace; daughters, Patricia Holderfield, Sandra Rayba, Nicki Israel, Linda Chambers; sister, Evelyn Plemmons. Survivors include her sons, Earl Carey and David Carey; daughter, Marlene Carey; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Alex Welch (Pat); sisters, Leila Steinmetz and Edna Avery. Friends may call at their convenience to sign the register on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM at Smith Funeral & Cremation Service. Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a service to follow at 6:00 PM officiated by Pastor Roger Hurst. Family and friends will assemble on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM for a graveside service at Holston College Cemetery, Holston College Rd., Louisville, TN 37777.
