Gene Laskowski, Seminarian trainee 1967-68

St. Paul´s in Englewood, NJ, was my first fieldwork situation from Union Theological Seminary. It was also what shifted my seminary concentration from church history to psychiatry and religion and led to a near decade of service as chaplain at Groton School. David was the central figure in that first year fieldwork experience. He and Bill Peabody strongly influenced my view of chaplaincy at Groton School. Without David and Bill´s influence, the direction of my life´s work would have been different.
