David Poche Obituary

Poche Jr., David A member of Boilermakers Local 37 District 5 in New Orleans and a resident of Chalmette, he died at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005, in Prairieville. He was 38 and a native of New Orleans. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26, and from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Maurepas, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Ruben Reynolds. Interment in Whitehall Cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Gloria Dupuy Poche, Chalmette; son, Dylan Joseph Poche, Chalmette; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Randy Dufour, French Settlement, and Paula and Steve Terry, Galvez. Preceded in death by his father, David Poche Sr. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working with Little League ball teams with his son.

Gloria and family, we are very saddened about the news of David. Due to cicumstances of the last four weeks our family is not able to attend the services. We also had a loss in our family, our four week old grandson also passed Sept 5, we know it is rough to have such an unexpected tradgedy and our deepest sympathies go out to you, Dylan and the rest of your family. My wife and I have fond memories of David and those will be remembered for ever. FOREVER IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS THOMAS AND DANA NEUMANN

Mrs.Gloria,Dylan,Linda,Paula and Family.Was very shocked and saddened by the news.I am in K.C.MO. until Sat Oct1.Will be in Gonzales then.I f i were there,i'd be coming to the wake,after all we grew up and went to school together,we were neighbors a long time.All of this is like a nightmare.I can't even think of what you all are going through.Debbie lives in Gonzales and Marilyn lives in Prairieville,i had just did a search for ya'll at Red cross the day before my sister sent me the email about David.Something good has got to come of all this hurt and heartache.Sending you all our deepest sympathy And Prayers always,your long time neighbors,Herbie and Blanche Hahn
