Edward Ginn Obituary

Edward T. Ginn, veteran of the U.S. Navy, passed away on February 5, 2022 at the age of 78. He was born on April 28, 1943 in Columbus, TX to the late Edward Y. Ginn and Ruby Thomson. He received education in Journalism and later worked in sales. He enjoyed playing tennis and wrote novels. He is preceded in death by his brother, Herbert D. Ginn, and his sister-in-law, Patricia Goof. He is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Rosa Ginn; his stepdaughters, Lisa Vernaci (Louis) and Claudia Lovett (Joseph); his stepson, Guillermo Iruegas (Ann); his sister, Gretchen Ginn; his grandchildren, Selena Reynolds (Brayden) and Abigail Iruegas; and his great-grandchild, Luna Reynolds. Services for Ed will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church located at 6425 W. Metairie Ave., Metairie, LA 70003. The visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Mass at 12:00 p.m. The inurnment will be held privately for the immediate family.
