he was a wonderful person our kids and grandkids will always remember him coming to our
house as Santa He was always there for anyone who needed help like when our basement flooded

To Emil's family, I had the pleasure with knowing and working with Emil. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He always had a great work ethic and was willing to help any new employee learn the ropes. I used to haul him around in my bucket truck in his Santa suit to address the people in the buildings downtown. My deepest condolences to the entire Kletke family. Mr. Kletke was a treasure to the entire community. Few people I have known have touched more lives or left a more meaningful legacy of laughter and love. While he will truly be missed he will certainly never be forgotten.

The first year we lived in Lansing Emil came to our house at Christmas dressed as Santa Claus; he was such a dear neighbor and great man. The Ginther kids fondly remember that Christmas. Later in life we brought our daughter to see Santa Emil at his house in the sleigh he had in the front yard. Emil was a very kind man who will always hold a special place in our hearts!

I feel so blessed that Emil was a part of my family's life. My dad (Jack Bauknecht) in addition to being long-time friends with Emil, organized many Santa visits to our house for my nieces and nephew and the tradition continued with their children and mine. We just viewed the pictures of Emil and enjoyed seeing all the good times your family celebrated. Such wonderful memories to treasure. We remember how he cheered Todd on at his baseball games. It still brings a smile to our faces. A great guy with a great family. Our sympathies to all of you.
