Gilbert Horace Crawford, Sr. of Pasadena Texas passed away on Monday, November21, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. Gilbert was born on December 6, 1934 in Livingston, Texas. He married Yvonne Norwood and began his family and a life as a successful businessman. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family at their farm home in the Livingston area. He is preceded in death by his parents, Horace W. and Ola Crawford, and son Christopher Norwood Crawford. He is survived by his wife Yvonne Crawford, children Gilbert and Phyllis Crawford Jr., Richard and Karen Teepe, and Wayne and Jeanette Simpson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, November 25th from 5-7 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 26th, 2011 at 10:00 am.
