was born March 15, 1945 in Lufkin, Texas to Virgie Sue Evans Prewitt and Rev. Hall Housall Prewitt. Hall went to be with the lord on April 12, 2016. Hall was a Superintendent for Brown and Root for many years and was co-owner and owner of several industrial insulation companies. Hall was a devoted Mason and PAST MASTER of the North Shore Lodge No. 1353 in Houston, TX. Hall enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing. Hall also enjoyed watching NASCAR racing. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, Virgie Sue and Hall Housall Prewitt, wife of 29 years Nancy Carolyn Prewitt, sister Martha Sue and grandson Shane Allen Hawk. Hall is survived by his wife Lois Prewitt; daughters Carrie Worthan and husband Scott, Melissa Philbrick and husband Richard, Tina Brown and husband Mark; grandchildren: Deidrea, Ryan, Jeffrey, Allix and Lacey; great grandchildren: James and Addison;brother Jesse Prewitt and wife Debbie, Sisters Amesses Smart and husband Harles Sr, Amelia "Amy" Harwood and husband Tom,step children Jack Rickett, Jennifer Gray and Alex Pinckard; four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.The family will receive guests for visitation on Sunday April 17th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena, TX. There will be visitation prior to funeral services on Monday April 18th starting at 12:00pm; the service will start at 1:00pm at Monument Baptist Church, Deer Park, TX. The service will be led by Pastor Mike McMahon. Hall will be laid to rest on Tuesday April 19th at Beech Grove Cemetery in Burr Ferry ,Louisiana. The grave side service will begin at 11:00am. To honor his memory, in lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Monument Baptist Church, Deer Park, TX.

Hall has been my beloved brother-in-law since he married my sister almost 9 years ago. I can only rejoice now that he is with the Lord and his family who've gone before him, and no longer in pain. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends he left behind.
