Irene Lane Obituary

Lane
Irene C. Lane May 18, 1935
My beautiful wife Irene passed away peacefully on April 25th at the age of 84 surrounded by her loving family. This warm and loving lady came into my life at a banking college in England almost 70 years ago. She from Yorkshire and me from London. We made our move to America in 1959. To the family she was our Rock, our Queen, The Captain-ette, and Wonder Woman.
She was a loving mother of four, grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of one. As a wife she was unbeatable. We deeply mourn her passing, as will all those around the world who had the opportunity of knowing her and sharing her devotion. She is now in heaven, and as a passionate Christian, she is waiting for us.
A celebration of life will be planned in the summer.
My Love Irene, I will miss you desperately, your loving husband Tony.

Irene was a beautiful woman, inside and out. I love to listen to her lilting British accent. She taught us how to make "a proper pot of tea" at a silver tea service, hat and gloves tea party at church. I will never forget that. I even bought the same kind of tea pot she used. I will forever think of her while drinking tea. You will be missed, lovely lady. Rest in peace in God's gentle hands.

Tony it was a shock to hear that Irene had left us.
She was an awesome neighbor and a ray of sunshine!
The world grows somewhat darker without her in it. I truly miss her......

The Mother of Angels is in Heaven now. How you will be missed, Irene. There will be a huge void for your family and friends for a long time to come. The good deeds you did for many will never be forgotten. May you rest in peace, finally pain free.
