Janet Brusko Obituary


ANDOVER TOWNSHIP - Janet Brusko, 82, of the Lake Lenape section of Andover Township, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Newton Medical Center.
Born in Dover, Janet lived in Livingston for 30 years before moving to Lake Lenape 23 years ago. She was a former RN at Orange Memorial Hospital in Orange. Janet was a member of the Greater Andover Senior Citizens.
The daughter of the late Albert and Edna (Hicks) Jewell, Janet was also predeceased by her husband, Eugene J. Brusko, on Dec. 13, 2011. She is survived by her son, Michael Brusko, of Newton; her granddaughter, Charlie Segovia-Brusko and husband, Jesus, of Fort Worth, Texas; and her great-granddaughter, Penelope Segovia-Brusko, of Fort Worth, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service, also at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Locust Hill Cemetery Mausoleum in Dover.
Memorial donations may be made to the Greater Andover Senior Citizens, 2 Macintosh Drive, Lafayette, NJ 07848. Online condolences may be offered at www.smithmccrackenfuneralhome.com.
