Jerry Donaldson

Gerald "Jerry" Aaron Donaldson, age 82, of Southport, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. Jerry was born July 22, 1942 in New Orleans, LA, son of the late E.J. and Claire Donaldson. Jerry lived and worked in Washington, DC for 43 years. He held a BA and MA in Legal Philosophy from Tulane University in New Orleans; and he held a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Virginia. He was a Master Gardener and he had a soft spot for all animals. He was passionate about environmental conservation and served on the Southport Forestry Committee. Jerry enjoyed sailing, classical music, and photography. Survivors include his wife, Molla Donaldson; three daughters; five grandchildren; and a sister. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
