John Walter "Jack" Billings Jr.

John "Jack" Walter Billings, Jr., age 85, passed away January 26, 2022 at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in 1937 to Annie Ruth (Lee) and Rev. John Walter Billings, Sr. in San Antonio, Texas. John was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard and the United States Air Force and retired from USAA Insurance Company. He is preceded in death by son John Walter Billings, III and survived by wife of 62 years Lois Dale (Whitley); daughters Corrine Lois Fox (John), JuLee Dale Zachary (Glynn), and Cynthia Lynn Billings; grandchildren Ryan Stephen Fox (Valerie), Stephanie Lee Fox, Rachel Billings Zachary (Brandon), Timothy Billings Zachary, Whitley Billings Zachary (Matt), Ellen Billings Lara (Chris), John Walter Billings Zachary, Roby Billings Zachary, Riley Billings Zachary, Garrett Sharp Sangalli, Benjamin Shawn Sangalli, August James Sangalli, Gabrielle Lynn Sangalli, Mallorie Brooke Sangalli, William Bradford Sangalli, Robinson Brewster Sangalli, and Nathan Dabney Sangalli; great-grandchildren Sean Stephen Fox, Connor Nathaniel Fox, Leo James Fox, Jameson Whitley Morales, and Sophia Eleanor Morales. A service will be held at Crossroads Baptist Church at 9:30am on Thursday February 17, 2022 with a burial afterward at 11:15am at Ft Sam Houston Air Force Base. On Wednesday 5pm-9pm January 16, 2022 there will be a viewing at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
