On the City's Western Border;
Reared against the sky;
Proudly stands our Alma Mater;
Dear Old Palm Beach High.
Into the world we soon will travel;
After day is done;
Still will stand our Alma Mater;
Proudly looking on.
Sing her praises, send them upward;
over hill and dale,
Here's to thee dear Palm Beach High School;
Hail to thee, all hail!
Goodbye our Palm Beach High Alumni,
Joseph J. Barrow, Class of 1950 from someone born in 1950 and also a proud graduate of Palm Beach High School, Class of 1968! Hail to thee...All Hail!

I can't believe Joe is gone. Although I have not been in touch for years,our years together as the "Pirates Cove" group will not be forgotten by any of us.Joe was always a driving force no matter what, diving, fishing, camping at the bluegrass festivals it was a great decade...I have thought of you often, Irene, and my sorrow is with yours and your family.

Irene and family, Neal and I can't find enough words to express our love for Joe, the pain in our hearts is deep but we know he's cruising the heavens now as he always wanted to. He was a good friend that we will never forget. When I hear thunder in the sky we laugh as we know he's raising hell playing Texas Holdem with his buddies up there. He is forever in our hearts.

Grandpa Joe was always good to my sister and I, and you could always count on him for a good laugh with his wise jokes. For the holidays he made the best ribs I have ever had. He loved my sister and I very much and was a very proud grandpa. Grandpa Joe will be deeply missed.
